I want it ALL

While determining what I want in this tiny house I have kept in mind the classic Vince Lombardi quote “ Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence”.

Most of the things I want in this tiny house are practical items but not necessarily required to make the tiny house livable. As I have made this list, a common theme has become clear. I like nice things and I love technology that aides in my home laziness. For example, I love the idea of having my home fully automated and controlled through my ipad or iphone. Would it really be necessary for me to be able to control my lights from my device even when the light switch is no more than 2 steps from me at any moment: No but I want to do it anyway. In the case of home automation there seems to be options available at fairly reason prices as well. This is not true of all my desires. For instance, I would love a single ductless AC/ heat unit for the house with a condenser unit outside. In the end I may just end up with space heaters and fans. I would love a shower with LED lighting, several massaging jets and a built in control panel but may have to settle for a simple white plastic enclosure. I will continue to want big things in the hopes that the end product is excellent.

You may have noticed there is no actual list in this post, and that is because as I began to compile my list of wants in this tiny house, I thought I need a place to store all these ideas.
